O projeto é um rebranding no do restaurante delivery Itália na Caixa. O cliente pediu que eu fizesse poucas alterações no antigo logo e que mantivesse o padrão de cores vermelho/verde, em uma “caixa”, já comum do seu público. Junto as criações atuais, será desenvolvido a embalagem que irá pasta e o cardápio, possibilitando um reconhecimento visual para uma futura franquia.
O conceito do novo logotipo do Itália na Caixa faz referência aos restaurantes italianos e aos filmes da época de ouro de seu cinema. Para tal, criei uma moldura que lembra as placas ibéricas e uma fonte que remete aos posters utilizados nas películas.
A ideia é homenagear o clássico e original, principal argumento do briefing.
The project is a rebranding of the Italia na Caixa delivery restaurant. The client asked me to make few changes to the old logo and to keep the red/green color pattern in a "box" that is already common to his audience. Along with the current creations, the packaging that will be used will be developed and the menu, enabling visual recognition for a future franchise.
The concept of the new Italia na Caixa logo references Italian restaurants and the films of the golden age of its cinema. To do this, I created a frame that resembles the Iberian plates and a font that refers to the posters used in the films.
The idea is to pay homage to the classic and original, the main argument of the brief.
O formato da caixa que contém a tipografia, traz os arabescos itálicos. Uma forma de criação artística ibérica “à moda árabe”, muito comum na Itália.
De acordo com a história cultural, esses arabescos foram criados principalmente utilizando elementos abstratos e/ou geométricos com ondulações em padrões. Isso se devia ao princípio árabe de que somente Alah pode produzir elementos que tenham vida.
Pela sua beleza e proximidade geográfica, os italianos acabaram absorvendo esses elementos em sua arquitetura e design.

The format of the box that contains the typography, bears the italic arabesques. A form of Iberian artistic creation "in the Arab way", very common in Italy.
According to cultural history, these arabesques were primarily created using abstract and/or geometric elements with ripples in patterns. This was due to the Arabic principle that only Allah can produce elements that have life.
Due to its beauty and geographical proximity, the Italians ended up absorbing these elements into their architecture and design.
